Ain't Gonna Lie ...

When I started this journey (self-publishing), I found it to be a steep learning curve.

Have you ever felt like throwing your computer out the window?

If so, you are not alone. I may be the poster child for frustration. Time-consuming. Saying, "HUH?" a lot. I admit, it's a pain in my tuchus.

So here I am. What have I gotten myself into? Well. Okay, yes, I like having more control over my work. Yes, I do like having an editor to scribble all over my manuscripts (thank you, Helene!).

But, I refuse to say self-publishing is easy. My first book in self-publishing, well, that one was to be ready for the audience at the very end of May. Surely, June. Now it's mid-July. Color me frustrated.

Share your experiences and please, please tell me I am not alone. Sigh.

*At some point before my life ends or we're raptured, my prayer is to get Match Made in Mayhem thrown to the wind (i.e. on the shelf) before I kill my computer. And it's not my computer's fault.

A wee bit longer, God willing, you'll see it. As I pray I can exhibit the fruits of the Spirit.

In the meantime, if you want a free copy ... if you are willing to be on a launch team and create buzz ... let me know.

If you find self-publishing a breeze, you can pass on a comment, but leave a laugh emoji. Then I can say, "russa frussa."
