Not. Slacking.

Updated: Jul 11

I developed some nerve damage in my arms writing three books in a row plus managing a second website, designing graphics, working with my editor, and learning how to self-publish without going insane. That last part is the most difficult, BTW.

So I am down to the last of my Christmas novella for the Grit & Grace series. Somewhere in all of this, the upcoming laser eye surgery (eye issues make even reading difficult), nerve conduction studies, and possibly surgery on both arms, one can imagine writing 1100 words in a day (and then 3 days in excruciating pain wondering why I wrote that much).

My eyes! My eyes!
My eyes! My eyes!

Comfortably, I can write 300-400 words a day. Split into rest/write/do anything else/ write, etc.

Good thing I'm writing a novella!

That said, please forgive me for slacking not slacking. Well, trying to hold it together with rest/ ice/ heat/ Voltaren gel. Sprints did not work nor did the ergonomic hand/wrist rests for the computer.

I'll be a better blogger next round! Promise!
